Checking the processes running on port in CentOS and Ubuntu

09 Aug

To check what are the processes that are currently running on your system, their port numbers, address etc, please use this,

netstat -tulpn | less

Running the above command in command prompt lists the processes running, their id, the port number, local address and the port status.
