15 Feb

When installing phpmysqmin in ubuntu using the apt-get, and after going to browser and go http://localhost/phpmyadmin, you may get

The requested URL /phpmyadmin was not found on this server even after configuring apache fine. This may be because you have not chosen apache2 as the option for server while installing. Even after choosing if you get this, just create a symbolic link as follow,

First re-congigure the installed phpmyadmin,

sudo dpkg-reconfigure -plow phpmyadmin

Then

sudo ln -s /etc/phpmyadmin/apache.conf /etc/apache2/conf.d/phpmyadmin.conf
sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 reload
